The Bansha Boys band plays music from a wide range of genres including pop, rock, country, folk and Irish. Their music has an Irish feel due to the use of some traditional instruments. The bands line up can change to suit the wedding and the Budget – 2, 3 or 4 piece.
At your wedding the band will play songs that you might expect at a wedding and some that you might not. Whatever it takes to get the crowd up and dancing. Playing anything from a mini Ceili set to Irish Country Rock and a ton of music for Jiving, and also modern hits, Rock’n’Roll and plenty of classics.

Deep Sky Objects
Deep Sky Objects are a three-piece alternative-rock band from Kerry. The band members include brothers Kevin O’Brien (lead vocals, guitar), Thomas O’Brien (drums and backing vocals) and DD Foley (bass guitar and backing vocals). Deep Sky Objects stemmed from a shared mutual interest in groups such as The Smiths, Interpol and Radiohead.
Following an appearance at ‘Whelan’s Ones to Watch 2017’, the band began recording their self-titled EP ‘Deep Sky Objects’ in WhiteWell Studios, Cork. The band found their rhythm in the studio and knocked-out five new tracks to be released monthly in 2017. The tracks are recorded and mixed by Ciaran O’Shea who has worked with acts like Chester Bennington (Linkin Park) and The Frank and Walters. ‘Deep Sky Objects’ was also mastered by Fergal Davis who has previously worked with artists such as Muse and Sinead O’Connor.

Hank Wedel
Singer-songwriter Hank Wedel was born in the USA in the ‘60s, grew up in NYC and Mallow, Co. Cork in the ‘70s, lived for awhile in NYC in the ’80s and ’90s but is based in Cork City.
He is well known for his involvement in the live music scene in Cork, and in the past with bands such as ”Princes Street” and “Open Kitchen”, as well as a long-standing Monday night residency at Charlies Bar with mandolinst Ray Barron. Hank has also performed with Irish music legends Kila, Declan Sinnott, Shane McGowan and Bono. Irish folk-singer legend Christy Moore recorded Hank’s song “Listen” and made it the title track of his best-selling 2009 album on Sony records.
The Rockets
A live performance by The Rockets is a blistering and electrifying nostalgic romp through the best of the 1950’s Rock’n’Roll. The Rockets provide a full show that is completely authentic in sound and vision and is close as your likely to get to experiencing the ’50’s without actually travelling back to 1955 Doc Brown’s De Lorean Time Machine.
The Rockets are a 4 piece band from Dublin with a love of all things Beatles, and in particular 1950’s Rock’n’Roll and Rockabilly. If you love Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Elvis and the rest, and in particular if you love your Rock N Roll faster than a Formula One car, and louder than a 747 coming into land, then don’t miss the Rockets live on stage.

Acoustra are one of the most versatile bands you will ever see. 15 years in the entertainment business means we know how to read a crowd and how to interact with them. Our extensive set incorporates all the music you need for your venue, wedding or whatever party or event. Hearing is believing! We are in our element playing to a full room of people up for a good time. All the top country classics for jiving, sets of waltzes, 60″s and 70″s classics that everyone loves to dance to, and of course, Irish/Folk and Trad.
With accordion as lead instrument we get the floor hopping with a siege of Ennis, we play popular Irish and Folk Ballads, slow songs for intimate moments on the dance floor, Rock and Roll medleys, Swing and Boogie and of course up to date chart hits.
Our set list is constantly updated as new songs are added. Acoustra are a 3, 4 or 5 piece group which includes Yvonne McCarthy as joint lead vocalist in the event that a wedding or event would like to have both male and female singers.
We are centrally based in Limerick and have performed in numerous venues nationwide; we can reach most places within 2 hours. We have no problem traveling to come and perform for you.
